Webinars are web-based seminars, or presentations, that are transmitted over the web. This collection includes webinars on a range of RTI related topics.
This series of webinars discusses using RTI in learning disability identification, specifically focused on the role of data and data-based decision making. The series includes presentations from both the national and state perspectives.
From 2010 through 2012, AIR helped the Nevada Department of Education align RTI work across the state’s districts (including two large districts that were implementing RTI). Using AIR’s RTI Integrity Rubric to assess implementation, AIR and Nevada were able to identify areas where the Clark and Washoe County school districts needed support. These needs were addressed through a series of monthly webinars that were supported by AIR. The webinars included resource sharing, presentations, and discussions.
These collections of resources include resources on a range of MTSS/RTI topics that are organized by type of resource.
Since 2013, AIR has provided support to the Vermont K-12 MTSS State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG). This grant, funded by the federal Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), supports personnel preparations and professional development activities in the setting of Vermont’s MTSS framework. As part of the SPDG, AIR has partnered with Vermont to provide trainings and technical assistance activities, both on-site and virtual, to teachers and administrators on the practice and implementation of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), as a Tier 1 instructional approach.
This collection of resources provides information about the realtionship between MTSS/RTI and special education, using MTSS/RTI to identify students with specific learning disabilities, disproportionality, and early intervening services.
This collection of resources provides information about data-based decision making. Data analysis and decision making occur at all levels of RTI implementation and all levels of instruction. Teams use data to make decisions about instruction, movement within the multi-level prevention system, and disability identification (in accordance with state law).
