This 2006 presentation, conducted by Dr. Erica Lembke and Dr. Laura Saenz at the Summer Institute on Student Progress Monitoring supported by the National Center on Student Progress Monitoring, discusses issues related to successfully implementing Curriculum Based Measurement (CBM) at the school or district level. It also addresses how to support the implementation of CBM in classes that have students with disabilities and/or English Language Learners (ELLs).
The National Center on Student Progress Monitoring (NCSPM) was funded by the Office of Special Education Programs from 2003-2008, and content has not been updated since that time. Although materials were vetted under the NCSPM, professionals differ in how they report and explain certain content and procedures.
